House rules

The primary renter must be at least 21. No additional persons beyond the maximum occupancy of nine are permitted. Smoking is not allowed. Events are prohibited. Reservations involving events, commercial activities, rotating guest groups or other non-traditional uses require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees or an increased security deposit. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage. Pets require prior owner approval; the dog approval fee is $300 per dog per booking, and additional fees and/or a security deposit may apply. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If cancellation dates are reopened at the owner's discretion and rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use their original dates if payments follow the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. In lieu of a security deposit, the property carries up to $25,000 of damage protection, with coverage details in the booking agreement. The owner may arrange showings to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to use reasonable daytime hours.

Getting there

The home has direct access to a private beach. It is not handicap accessible and is not suitable for unrelated guests. Some attractions are walkable from the home. Outside Memorial Day through Labor Day, inquire before booking about the availability of outdoor furniture and equipment; seasonal cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
