The house

American Way Chalet accommodates up to eight guests in a 1,298-square-foot home with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame mountain views. The living area has a fireplace, smart TV and premium sound system; heating and ceiling fans are provided.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a stove and oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and kitchen basics, with a dining area. A private deck, outdoor seating and barbecue provide outdoor space, and the home has a hot tub, steam shower and jetted tub. Wildlife sightings can include moose and bears.

Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, bed linens, towels, toiletries, a hair dryer and an iron are provided. Entertainment includes cable or satellite television and a video library. A gym or fitness room and concierge and in-home services are available. Safety equipment includes smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, a fire extinguisher and a first aid kit. The home has a private entrance and self check-in.

Main Street is less than five miles away, and the base of Peak 8 is a short drive away. Scenic trails, the Breckenridge Nordic Center, and village shops and dining are within walking distance. Dillon Reservoir is nine miles north, with guided fishing available through Alpine Fishing Adventures. A local Breckenridge team provides support during the stay.
