The house

This custom-built, 6,000+ square foot home has an open-concept great room with seating and a fireplace. The equipped kitchen includes Wolf appliances, Sub-Zero refrigerators, three dishwashers and a large island, with an adjacent scullery and wet bar. Indoor and outdoor dining areas have oceanfront views.

Two oceanfront primary suites open onto a covered terrace. The sleeping arrangements include five California king beds and a sixth bedroom with two double beds and two queen beds; every bedroom has a TV. Organic mattresses and bedding, medical-grade air filtration in living spaces, whole-home water filtration and structuring, low-tox building materials and metal-clad wiring are featured. There are two laundry rooms, multiple workspaces and a mudroom.

A private boardwalk leads directly to the beach. Outdoor facilities include a private pool and spa with a sun shelf and in-water loungers, an upper deck, a ground-level lounge, ping pong, giant chess and a basketball goal. There is an oceanfront dune bench, outdoor shower and foot wash, plus covered dining with a refrigerator and BBQ grill. Parking accommodates six cars, with EV chargers and golf cart plug-ins. An elevator is available, but maintenance may interrupt its availability.

Local restaurants and shops are within walking distance, and downtown Charleston is a short drive away.
