House rules
Maximum occupancy is eight guests. No smoking or pets. Events or gatherings exceeding approved occupancy require prior authorization. Stays of 14 nights or longer require a mid-stay cleaning. Pool heating to 78°F is complimentary; additional heating is available for a fee—please inquire for details. Beach equipment rentals are available for a charge. Children are welcome, and door alarms and a safety gate at the base of the stairs are provided. Exterior security cameras are covered and inactive during guest stays. Self check-in is available 24 hours a day.
Getting there
The oceanfront shoreline directly beyond the lawn is natural reef and lava, not a conventional sandy swimming beach; ocean conditions vary. Sandy Kohala Coast beaches are a short drive away. A car is necessary. The layout may not be fully accessible to guests with limited mobility, and stairs connect the primary-suite lanai to the lawn. Extensive Kona and Kohala road closures for the IRONMAN Race on October 9, 2027 may affect travel routes; plan travel accordingly.
