Rent an Ål cabin on Sørbølfjell in Flå, 770 meters above sea level. Sveheim has a fantastic view towards Høgevarde to the south, and with the famous windows of the Ål cabin, you have views all around the cabin. There are many hiking opportunities all year round. Cross-country ski trails are right outside the door. In winter you can take long beautiful trips into the mountains if you like randonee or skiing with mountain skis. Ski trails are groomed around the cabin area and west towards Skarsdalen. There are also many great sledding opportunities right outside the cabin. In summer it is possible to take nice walks up towards Sørbølnatten and Sørbølfjell. The trips are suitable for both mountain-experienced and families. There are many streams and lakes in the area that can be fished (remember fishing license) and swum in. There are also swimming opportunities a bit further down the terrain at Veåstjern, where a swimming pier has been established. Otherwise, a swim in Krøderen is recommended. The place is ideal for families with children and hiking enthusiasts. If you want to go alpine skiing, it is about 30 km to Turufjell ski center. It is now possible to drive via Skarsdalen and you do not need to drive down to highway 7. From the cabin it is only 20 km to Bjørneparken in Flå and 1.5 hours to Langedrag Nature Park. It is about a 1-hour drive to Norefjell, where you will find an 18-hole golf course and Norefjell ski center. For those who do not want to drive too long to get to the cabin, this is perfect as it is only about a 2-hour drive from Oslo. The cabin has two bedrooms and a loft. Bathroom with toilet, shower and underfloor heating. Sitting area with plenty of space for the whole family and the popular daybed from Ålhytta. Wood-burning stove that heats quickly and well in the living room. Kitchen with combined fridge/freezer, dishwasher and waffle iron. There is a coffee grinder and French press in the kitchen, in addition to a drip coffee maker. Bedrooms: Bedroom 1: Double bed 150cm. Bedroom 2: Family bunk bed. Loft: Mattress with sleeping space for 2 people. There is also sleeping space for 2 people in a sleeping alcove above the bay window in the living room. Living area 68 m2.
