The house

The house has a spacious furnished living area with large windows overlooking the countryside, vineyards and Stour Valley. Original Tudor beams and character features run throughout the property, with an inglenook fireplace in the entrance hall. A well-equipped kitchen and dining area provide space for self-catering meals together. There are six bedrooms, six beds and three bathrooms.

Private grounds include a large wrap-around garden, several patios, fruit trees and a children's climbing frame. Guests have a table tennis table, a BBQ grill and private off-street parking for up to five cars. Bed linens, a bathtub and a carbon monoxide detector are provided.

Old Wives Lees is surrounded by farmland, orchards and hop gardens. Chilham is around half a mile away and Canterbury is approximately five miles away. The North Downs Way passes through the village, providing countryside walking routes. The 667 bus serves Old Wives Lees from a stop near the Village Hall, connecting with Chilham, Canterbury and Canterbury East Railway Station. Chilham railway station offers connections towards Canterbury and the wider Kent network.
