The house

The single-level home sleeps four and has a living area with large windows, comfortable seating and wood accents. The dining area connects to a full kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, dishes and utensils, coffee maker, coffee grinder, kettle, toaster, toaster oven and wine fridge.

The primary bedroom has a queen bed, blackout drapes and natural light. The second bedroom has a double bed and no views. There is one full guest bathroom, and a bathtub is among the amenities. A queen-size air mattress is available.

Facilities include two Smart TVs, high-speed Wi-Fi, heating, a washer and dryer, linens, secure bike storage, ski storage and two dedicated free parking spaces. The home is laptop friendly. Safety equipment includes smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, a fire extinguisher and a first aid kit.

There is no central air conditioning, and both bedrooms are listed without A/C. Portable upright A/C units may be deployed for extended stays with forecasted hot weather for $30/day. Short and extended stays are supported, and long-term stays are allowed. Children and pets are welcome; smoking is not allowed. Self check-in and self check-out are available, with 24-hour check-in advertised.

Downtown restaurants, breweries, cafés, shops and waterfront areas are nearby. Galbraith Mountain’s Northside trail access is 10 minutes away, Bellingham International Airport is 15 minutes away, the Canadian border crossing is 30 minutes away, and Mt. Baker Ski Area is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes away. A car is recommended.
