House rules

Maximum occupancy is six. The primary renter must be at least 28 years old. Smoking is not permitted. Reservations require approval before confirmation. One hypoallergenic, non-shedding dog weighing 40 lbs or less is permitted for an additional $300.00 per booking; other dogs, larger dogs, multiple dogs and other pets require express approval. Events, commercial activities and other non-traditional uses, including rotating groups during one stay, require prior written approval. Additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage. One light cleaning per eight nights booked and an end-of-stay cleaning are included; additional cleanings may be requested at guests' expense. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. Following cancellation, Marquis will use best efforts to work with the owner to reopen and rebook the original dates, at the owner's discretion. If those dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total original reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation is collected. If not rebooked, guests may use their original dates provided payments follow the agreed schedule and Marquis is notified in writing at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 in damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. The owner may arrange showings to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule reasonable daytime hours.
