The house

This approximately 3,000-square-foot home stands on one and a half acres of lawn and natural surroundings near Love Lane, North Fork wineries, and Long Island Sound and Peconic Bay beaches. Custom carpentry, a living room with a wood-burning fireplace and oversized backyard-facing windows, and a separate family room with a large-screen TV provide indoor gathering spaces. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and a stove/oven; the dining table seats eight, and the breakfast area has four stools.

The backyard has a dining deck with bench seating, an outdoor kitchen with a stainless steel grill, sink and wine fridge, and a bar with four stools. A furnished gravel patio includes a brick fire pit. The grounds also have a picnic table and gazebo. Supplied kayaks, a pedal boat and a paddle board provide recreation on the pond, with dock access. The private pool and backyard are not fenced.

All six bedrooms have air conditioning. The third-floor attic bedroom has two double/full beds and two large skylights. Three bedrooms are on the second floor, including a king bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, TV and balcony/deck; the other two have queen beds and closets. Two lower-level bedrooms have a double/full bed and a queen bed respectively. The four full bathrooms comprise a second-floor shower/tub bathroom, a second-floor ensuite with shower, a main-floor shower bathroom and a lower-level shower bathroom.

A laundry room contains a washer, dryer and extra refrigerator. Bed linens, bath towels and pool/beach towels are provided. Wi-Fi, heating, hot water, a microwave and fitness equipment are available. Outdoor pool use is typically seasonal, and off-season outdoor furniture and equipment availability requires an inquiry before booking.
