Its open layout includes a living room with fireplace, formal dining room, family room and spacious study, with high ceilings, exposed wood beams and hardwood floors. The Chef’s kitchen has appliances and a large center island; French doors open toward the rear of the home. Six bedrooms are on the second floor, one is on the main floor and one is on the lower level. Bedrooms 2 and 7 have cable TV and balcony/deck access. Deep soaking tubs and a sauna provide spa facilities. An upper-level game room and recreation room complement a lower-level home theater, exercise room and wine cellar; there is also a playroom. Reservations involving events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses or rotating guest groups require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $170.00 per reservation night. For reservations longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest’s expense. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. If cancellation dates are reopened at the owner’s discretion and successfully rebooked for the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement booking. If no replacement booking is made, guests may use their original dates provided payments follow the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation starts. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments above $3,500 must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 in damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule showings during reasonable daytime hours.
