The house

The open-plan living and dining space opens onto a spacious deck with outdoor furniture and a BBQ. The kitchen includes a large oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, fridge-freezer, toaster, microwave and kettle. A smart TV and Wi-Fi are available.

Four bedrooms accommodate up to 10 guests. Two bedrooms each have a king bed, one has one bunk bed, and another has two bunk beds. Both bathrooms have a vanity, toilet and shower; the second also has a bathtub. An outdoor shower is available after beach visits.

Laundry facilities include a washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board. Linen is included: sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats and tea towels, with pillows and duvets provided. Beds are made before arrival and stripped after departure. Off-street parking and a garden/patio are available. There is no pool or hot tub.

Tennis courts and open spaces are nearby. Matakana Village, with cafés, a farmers market and boutique wineries, is a seven-minute drive away. Omaha offers boat-launching facilities, a protected harbour, an 18-hole golf course and bowling greens, with opportunities for water-skiing, fishing and diving. Point Wells, Snells Beach and Tawharanui Regional Park are also accessible from the home.
