The house

Wheelock Wonder is a dome house inspired by Buckminster Fuller's geodesic designs of the 1970s, set amid secluded natural surroundings. Its rustic, open-plan main level has spacious living and dining areas, custom windows and French doors leading to a den with a desk. The eat-in kitchen has a breakfast bar, stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, cookware and tableware, with an expansive deck just outside.

The main-floor bedroom has a queen bed and a Jack-and-Jill ensuite bathroom. Upstairs are two queen bedrooms and one double/full bedroom; one upstairs queen bedroom has a full ensuite bathroom. All four bedrooms have closets. The three full bathrooms include two with showers and one with a shower/tub combination.

Outdoor facilities include an uncovered deck/patio, a table, chairs and umbrella, two lounge chairs, gas and charcoal grilling facilities, a cooler, a fenced yard and a private heated freshwater pool. Indoors, amenities include window-unit air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi, television and Smart TV, a Bluetooth speaker, a washer and dryer, coffee-making facilities, linens, bath and pool/beach towels, and a hair dryer. The home has a private entrance, driveway parking for three cars, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and a fire extinguisher.

Main Street is a 10-minute drive away, with restaurants including Nick & Toni's, The Palm and Fresno. East Hampton Village and ocean beaches are nearby, including East Hampton Main Beach. The homeowner manages on-the-ground operations and guest communication after booking confirmation.
