Wood floors, oversized windows and skylights complement several formal and informal living spaces. A large den off the foyer has multiple access points to the yard. The formal dining room seats six, and the adjacent fully equipped kitchen has granite counters and an island for preparation, serving or informal dining. A casual seating area adjoins the kitchen. The great room has vaulted ceilings, seating and an informal dining table overlooking the grounds and pool; another sitting area occupies the partial second level. All five bedrooms are upstairs: a king bedroom with a walk-in closet and ensuite bathroom, two queen bedrooms, one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. An additional main-floor sleeping area has a twin bed. The upstairs bathrooms include one with a shower and another with a shower/tub combination; a half bathroom is on the main floor. All bedrooms and the additional sleeping area have air conditioning. Outside, a wood deck has patio furniture and a dining set, alongside a lawn and a patio with a fenced freshwater pool and seven lounge chairs. A gas grill is available. Events are prohibited; reservations involving events, commercial activities or other non-traditional uses, including rotating groups during a stay, require prior written approval and may involve additional fees or an increased security deposit. One dog of 150 lbs or less is permitted for $250.00 per booking. Larger dogs, multiple dogs and other pets require express approval. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $105.00 per night of the reservation. For reservations longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If cancellation dates are reopened at the owner's discretion and rebooked for the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after the replacement reservation is paid in full. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use the original dates provided payments follow the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 in damage protection, subject to the booking agreement.
