The house

The 140 sqm home is spread over three floors. A staircase lined with stained-glass windows leads to the sitting room and green open-plan living space with original wooden floorboards. Folding doors lead into a kitchen with pendant lighting and white marble countertops. A bathroom on this level has black-and-white tiled floors.

The three bedrooms are on the floor above. The main bedroom has a double bed, an ensuite bathroom, a brass bedstead and an ornamental fireplace. The second bedroom has a double bed. A bathroom has panelled walls and a freestanding bath. The second and third bedrooms have hanging rails rather than wardrobes, and the baby cot previously photographed in the second bedroom has been removed.

Kitchen equipment includes a coffee maker, dishwasher, electric oven, hob, fridge, freezer, kettle, microwave and toaster. A washing machine, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, towels, TV and sound system are available. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are provided. Free internet is available.

There is no air conditioning. Fans are provided in each bedroom from May through September; request fans for stays outside that period. Traffic noise can be heard in the second bedroom and sitting room. There is no internal elevator.
