House rules

Maximum occupancy is eight guests. The primary renter must be at least 21 years old. Smoking is not allowed. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Pets require prior owner approval and may incur additional fees and/or a security deposit. Events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses and rotating groups during one stay require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive utility usage. One end-of-stay cleaning is included. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Beach cabanas are available for rental. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If the owner agrees to reopen cancelled dates and those dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the original reservation total is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation is collected. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use the original dates provided scheduled payments have been made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Damage protection of up to $25,000 is provided in lieu of a security deposit, with coverage terms in the booking agreement. The owner may arrange daytime showings to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to respect guest privacy.

Getting there

The cottage is beachfront with direct access to a private beach. It is not suitable for multiple families or unrelated guests.
