# Wavecrest Waterfront Montauk, NY, United States (general area) ## About the house Wavecrest Waterfront is the only standalone cottage within Wavecrest Resort. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom home accommodates up to eight guests. Its open living spaces lead from the living room onto a private back deck overlooking the water. Both bedrooms are on the first/main floor: one has a king bed and the other has two bunk beds. Both bathrooms are full bathrooms with showers. The equipped kitchen includes a stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, dishes, silverware, pots and pans. The home has heating, hot water, Wi-Fi, a smart television in the main living room and a private entrance. Bed linens, bath towels and pool/beach towels are provided. Outdoor features include an uncovered deck/patio, lounge chairs, patio furniture, a grill and an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Parking is available. Resort facilities include communal shuffleboard, beach volleyball, an outdoor patio with lounge chairs and a food truck. Beach cabanas are available for rental. The cottage has direct beach access and is close to town restaurants, shops, art galleries and golf courses. After booking confirmation, the homeowner manages on-the-ground operations and guest communication. Washing machine: No · A washer/dryer is not available. The cottage is beachfront with direct access to a private beach. It is not suitable for multiple families or unrelated guests. Maximum occupancy is eight guests. The primary renter must be at least 21 years old. Smoking is not allowed. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Pets require prior owner approval and may incur additional fees and/or a security deposit. Events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses and rotating groups during one stay require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive utility usage. One end-of-stay cleaning is included. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Beach cabanas are available for rental. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If the owner agrees to reopen cancelled dates and those dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the original reservation total is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation is collected. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use the original dates provided scheduled payments have been made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Damage protection of up to $25,000 is provided in lieu of a security deposit, with coverage terms in the booking agreement. The owner may arrange daytime showings to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to respect guest privacy.
