The home sits at the end of a dead-end street with only four houses. Its open-plan living and dining areas connect to an island kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Floor-to-ceiling living-room windows overlook the water. The equipped kitchen includes a stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, cookware and tableware. The main-floor primary bedroom has a king bed, water views, a closet and a full ensuite bathroom with a shower. Two lower-level guest bedrooms have a king bed and a queen bed respectively, with closets. A second full bathroom with a shower/tub combination is on the lower level, and a half bathroom is on the main floor. All three bedrooms have air conditioning. Outdoor facilities include multiple seating areas, a deck/patio, lounge chairs, patio furniture, a gas grill and kayaks/canoe. An elevator, heating, hot water, bed linens, bath towels, washer, dryer and ironing equipment are provided. Gerard Drive Beach and Louse Point Beach are nearby. Springs General Store, a Saturday farmers market and a corner farm stand are within walking distance. The homeowner handles on-the-ground operations and guest communication after booking confirmation through the Elite program. Any proposed events, commercial activities or other non-traditional uses, including rotating groups during a stay, require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $75.00 per night of the reservation. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Outside Memorial Day through Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability; spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. Marquis may attempt to arrange rebooking, subject to the owner's decision to reopen the dates. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the new reservation. If no replacement booking is made, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments have been made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation starts. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; amounts over $3,500 must be paid by check, ACH or wire. Instead of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 in damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. The owner may arrange showings to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule during reasonable daytime hours.
