House rules
Maximum occupancy is 10; no additional persons are permitted. Pets, smoking and events are prohibited. Reservations involving events, commercial activities or other nontraditional uses, including rotating guest groups, require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $130.00 per night of the reservation. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Following cancellation, Marquis will attempt to work with the owner to reopen and rebook the dates, at the owner's discretion. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement booking. If no replacement booking is made, guests may use their original dates provided payments comply with the booking schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments over $3,500 must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection; coverage details are in the booking agreement.
Getting there
The property is not handicap accessible and is not suitable for unrelated guests. The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability; spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
Check dates and price before continuing with the host. A check does not reserve your stay. Confirm the terms with the host at staymarquis.com.
