House rules
The primary renter must be at least 35 years old. Pets and smoking are prohibited. Additional guests and events require express approval. Events, commercial activities, rotating guest groups and other non-traditional uses require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $140.00 per night of the reservation. For reservations longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest’s expense. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If cancellation dates are reopened at the owner’s discretion and rebooked for the original dates at the same or higher price, a refund less 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the new reservation is collected. If no new reservation is made, the original dates may still be used provided scheduled payments are made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property carries up to $25,000 of damage protection, subject to the booking agreement’s coverage terms. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule reasonable daytime hours.
Getting there
Southampton Village and Sag Harbor are minutes away. Flying Point is a nearby beach. The property is not suitable for unrelated guests and is not handicap accessible. For stays outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability; spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
Check dates and price before continuing with the host. A check does not reserve your stay. Confirm the terms with the host at staymarquis.com.
