The house

Wapiti Point - Main House offers 2,058 square feet of space, three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The living area has plush seating and a wood stove, with heating and ceiling fans throughout the home's advertised facilities. There is no air-conditioning. A balcony or patio and outdoor seating provide space outside.

The full kitchen includes a stove and oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and kitchen basics. Meals can be enjoyed at the dining table or breakfast bar. Wi-Fi, a dedicated workspace, a television, board games, books and a video library are available. Streaming services require guests' own accounts.

A washer and dryer, bed linens, extra pillows and blankets, towels, hair dryer, hangers, iron and room-darkening shades are provided. Children are welcome; family facilities include a high chair, children's books, toys, children's dinnerware and a playground or play area. Safety equipment includes smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, a fire extinguisher and a first aid kit.

Parking accommodates eight cars. Self check-in and luggage drop-off are available. A local team lives and works in Grand Lake and is available during the stay. Long-term stays are also allowed.

Grand Lake has over 300 miles of snowmobile trails, including 150 groomed miles. Winter snowpack on town streets allows snowmobile travel around town and trail access from the cabin. Nearby attractions include Moffat Road Railroad Museum, Grand Lake Visitor Center and Winter Park Resort; the area offers golf, skiing, hiking, swimming and sightseeing.
