The house

Perched alone on a ridge minutes above Uvita, Vista Royal has unobstructed 180-degree views of the Pacific, the Whale's Tail, Isla del Caño and the coast to the Osa Peninsula. High ceilings and walls of glass open the living area, oversized kitchen island and lounge to a long covered terrace beside the infinity pool. The master suite has a walk-in closet, a two-head shower and an outdoor tub; the second and third bedrooms have their own covered terraces and en-suite bathrooms, the fourth has a desk, and the two newest bedrooms have ocean views from the bed.

A private trail leads about a minute's walk to a waterfall. Cameras, a gated entrance with intercom and an alarm system; the coastal highway is about 3 minutes away.
