House rules

Maximum occupancy is eight guests. The primary renter must be at least 28 years old. Pets and smoking are not permitted. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses and rotating groups during a stay require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage. One light cleaning per eight nights booked and one end-of-stay cleaning are included; additional requested cleanings are at the guest's expense. The owner may arrange showings to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule reasonable daytime hours. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. If cancellation dates are reopened at the owner's discretion and rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation is collected. If the property is not rebooked, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments have been made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 in damage protection, subject to booking-agreement coverage details.

Getting there

All bedrooms are on the second floor. Nearby beaches include Kenney's Beach, Goldsmith's Inlet Park and Horton Lane Beach. Inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment outside Memorial Day to Labor Day; spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
