Because the property is in a tropical environment, occasional encounters with insects, lizards, rodents, and reptiles may occur. Power outages can occur because of falling branches or weather-related issues, and the local spring-fed water supply can occasionally be interrupted. Pool maintenance staff require access to the house on maintenance days.
Getting there
A 4x4 vehicle is mandatory to arrive at the property. The villa is advertised as 15 minutes from Dominical and 30 minutes from Uvita; the travel mode is not specified.
