## About the house

The villa has three bedrooms, three beds and two bathrooms across multiple levels. The entrance level includes a kitchenette for light meals and a bedroom opening directly to the garden and outdoor area. Half a level above, the second bedroom has a private balcony overlooking the pool and greenery. These two bedrooms share a bathroom.

The second floor contains a high-ceilinged living area with large windows, an outdoor balcony, comfortable seating, a TV and books, alongside a fully equipped kitchen. The master suite on this level has an ensuite bathroom, a walk-in closet area and a wide private balcony with two chairs.

Facilities include a swimming pool, outdoor shower, barbecue, lawn, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, washer and dryer. The kitchen includes a microwave and refrigerator, and the home has window coverings. The community has a gated entrance with security.

The pool is overlooked by the second bedroom's balcony. The maintenance team requires access to the house for pool maintenance.

A 4×4 vehicle is required for the mountain-road approach, especially during the rainy season; 4×2 AWD is not sufficient. The home spans multiple levels. Beaches, restaurants, shops and Marino Ballena National Park are less than 12 minutes away. Travel from San Jose airport takes 3.5 hours by car; an alternative is a 20-minute flight from SJO to Quepos airport followed by a 45-minute drive. Occasional weather-related power outages and interruptions to the spring-fed water supply can occur.

The maintenance team requires access to the house for pool maintenance. Occasional encounters with insects, lizards, rodents and reptiles can occur despite pest control and do not constitute a breach of the rental policy. A service fee of $100 varies with the number of days, and a cleaning fee of $89 applies.
