Villa Lagoon by AcoModo is designed to offer luxury without losing the warmth of a home. Its spacious, bright interiors create an elegant, welcoming atmosphere for families and friends. The villa has 3 main bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, plus a separate service bedroom with a single bed, providing a comfortable, versatile layout for families and groups. The main bedroom has a king bed. The second bedroom has multiple beds, an arrangement suited to children or groups. The third bedroom has a double bed. The property accommodates up to 10 guests, with 4 bedrooms and 6 beds in total. At the heart of the property is a spacious pool-facing terrace, where the tropical landscape becomes part of the experience. The private jacuzzi provides a place to relax at the end of the day, while the social areas invite shared meals, conversations and quality time together. Each space combines sophistication, comfort and a genuine sense of home, so both adults and children can feel comfortable and enjoy their stay.

Check-in: 3:00 PM. Check-out: 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out may be requested in advance and are subject to availability and additional charges. The minimum stay is 1 night and the maximum stay is 365 nights. Parking: The property has 1 private parking space. Free parking is explicitly advertised. Pets are not permitted inside the accommodation or on the property. BBQ: The accommodation does not have a private BBQ. The beach huts have BBQ facilities; their use must be reserved directly with the complex administration and is subject to an additional fee and availability. Only guests registered on the reservation may stay in the accommodation. Day passes and entry by guests or visitors not registered on the reservation are not permitted. Access to and use of Playa Escondida’s common areas and amenities are subject to the rules, hours, availability and conditions established by the complex administration. During your stay you will have access to the Clubhouse and the complex’s main amenities, including beach access, swimming pools, a bar, islands, restaurants, land and water playgrounds, and La Tiendita, the complex’s mini market. Access to and use of these areas are subject to the hours, rules and availability established by the Playa Escondida administration.

By car: This is the recommended option, taking approximately 1 hour. Leave Panama City via Corredor Norte / Transístmica (Avenida Simón Bolívar) toward Colón. At Sabanitas, follow signs toward Costa Arriba / Portobelo; you will find signs for Portobelo and María Chiquita. Before reaching Portobelo, take the turn toward Playa Escondida Resort. Estimated journey time: 60–70 minutes, depending on traffic. Recommendation: Leave Panama City before 8:30 AM or after 10:00 AM to avoid morning traffic. The return journey to the city usually has heavier traffic between 4:00 and 6:00 PM. Private driver or transportation: You can also arrange a private driver or transportation service from Panama City or Tocumen International Airport. This is a comfortable, convenient option if you prefer not to rent a vehicle.

Our service and communication hours are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. During these hours, our team is available to help with questions, requests or any situation related to your stay. We will do our best to respond to messages received outside these hours as soon as possible. In an emergency, you can contact us at any time. If our staff are not on site, we will coordinate and provide remote assistance until in-person support can be offered. Please note that you are staying in a private apartment, not a hotel, so we do not have staff on site 24 hours a day. Please care for and treat the space respectfully. If any issue arises, our team will do everything possible to address and resolve it promptly.

Playa Escondida Resort & Marina is in María Chiquita, Colón, on Panama’s Caribbean coast. It is a private community surrounded by nature, beach and sea, ideal for resting and disconnecting. Within the complex you will find a beach and relaxation areas, swimming pools, beach clubs, restaurants, a marina, and sports and recreation areas.
