The hotel

Villa Idalina is a historic mansion with terraces overlooking the mouth of the Minho River. The house has hand-painted tiles, stonework, wrought iron, marquetry pine floors and decorative plasterwork. Six individually rented rooms and suites include breakfast made in-house with local produce and produce from the garden. Suite categories include Joaquim Costa, Adolfo Junior and Doña Lolita; Deluxe rooms include Don Adolfo, Joaquim Costa Junior and Idalina.

Joaquim Costa Suite has a bedroom, tea sitting room and bathroom, and views of the Minho River. Doña Lolita Suite has private outdoor access and a bathroom in the villa’s former spa. Don Adolfo Deluxe is described as having two 1.10 m beds; its listed services separately mention a 1.50 m bed. Room services listed include towels, toiletries, a hair dryer, coffee maker, kettle, extra pillows, a computer desk and complimentary water. The Don Adolfo and Joaquim Costa Junior rooms are described as having original bathrooms; Joaquim Costa Junior and Idalina have garden views.
