It is fenced, has Roman steps, and is open from the last Saturday of April until the first Saturday of October. Solar panels warm the water by 2 to 3 degrees when the sun permits.

Ultra-fast fiber-optic Wi-Fi is advertised, with an external repeater covering part of the garden.

The villa is just outside Montecatini Terme, between Montecatini Terme and Lucca. The Padule di Fucecchio protected wildlife reserve is nearby. The property is 20 km from Lucca, 45 km from Pisa, 62 km from Florence and 40 km from Viareggio. Access roads are paved up to the entrance gate. The pool is approximately 30 metres from the villa across the lawn, and the tennis court is approximately 20 metres from the house.
