House rules

Guests must notify the team when they are 1 hour away so the team member can meet them at Restaurant La Langosta Feliz, guide them to the property and check them in. Power outages, Wi-Fi interruptions, water-supply interruptions and wildlife encounters can occur in the jungle setting. Refunds are not provided for Wi-Fi issues, power outages, delayed standard check-in times or wildlife visits. A 4x4 vehicle is mandatory; refunds are not provided to guests whose vehicles cannot access the house. Cancellations within 4 days or less of check-in incur the minimum 2-day stay and cleaning fee; for reservations longer than 14 days, the charge is 7 days and a cleaning fee.

Getting there

A 4x4 vehicle is mandatory to access the property. The road is well maintained but steep in some places. By car, the property is described as 3 hours from San Jose airport. Playa Matapalo is described as 7 minutes away by car, Playa Linda as 10 minutes away, and Dominical as 15 minutes away. The access route and travel times require a suitable vehicle.
