The house

Villa 51 accommodates six guests in three queen bedrooms. Open-plan living areas lead to a sunny patio overlooking the resort. The villa has air conditioning, heat pumps, a gas fire, a TV and a barbecue.

Upstairs, the main bedroom has a private balcony and an ensuite with a spa bath, shower, basin and toilet. The other two queen bedrooms share a second bathroom with a shower, basin and toilet. A separate guest toilet and full laundry are downstairs.

The kitchen includes a microwave, fridge-freezer, hobs, oven, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. A washing machine and tumble dryer are provided. Linen is included: sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats and tea towels, with pillows and duvets at the property. Beds are made before arrival and stripped after departure.

Shared resort facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, a lap pool, a gym and tennis courts. An 18-hole golf course borders the resort, a short stroll from the villa. The heated swimming pool is available from Labour Weekend to Anzac Weekend. The resort lies within a bird sanctuary with more than 18 native bird species. Pauanui Beach is a 10-minute drive away.
