Getting there
The beach, restaurants and shops are within walking distance. A door-to-door shuttle from San José airport is recommended. Public buses reach Puerto Viejo; onward local taxis to Uva Blue Villas cost approximately 8 USD. From Puerto Viejo, follow Highway 256 southeast past Cocles and the Jaguar Sanctuary, turn right beside El Duende Gourmet grocery store, continue approximately 150 metres past Namuwoki Lodge to the blue Uva Blue Villa sign, then turn right and continue approximately 50 metres to the end of the street.
