The house

This 92 sqm apartment has exposed beams, brick walls and an open-plan living and dining area with a sofa, dining table, colourful artwork and a kitchenette concealed behind rolling wooden doors. The kitchenette includes an oven, hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and toaster.

The main bedroom has a super king-size bed; the second bedroom has a double bed and a retro record player. Both bedrooms have interior windows overlooking the sitting room, with sheer curtains providing some privacy. There is one bathroom, and a shower is included among the facilities.

Other facilities include a washing machine, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, towels, TV, sound system, smoke detectors and a carbon monoxide detector. Free internet is available. The home has no air conditioning; fans are provided in each bedroom from May through September and can be requested outside that period.

The apartment is on the second floor with no internal elevator. London Bridge, the River Thames and Borough Market are a short stroll away, with bars and restaurants along the way. Children are welcome, but babies and toddlers are not accepted.
