The cabin is 6–7 minutes by car from the ski lift and 3 minutes from Trysil center. Cross-country ski trails are 3.5 km away in Åsområdet and 4 km away at Trysilfjellet. A ski bus runs to the treeless mountain area in Fageråsen, 15 km away. The shared outdoor area has play equipment, boats, a sauna and a grill house. The sauna is available year-round by booking. Mountain bikes and canoes can be rented in summer.
