The house

The home has a spacious, open interior with rustic wood panelling, living and dining areas, and a wood-burning fireplace in the living area. Bedrooms 1 and 2 each have a double bed and a single bed; Bedroom 3 has a queen-size bed. A ground-floor bedroom is available. The bathroom has a hand basin, shower, toilet and towel rail.

The fully equipped kitchen includes an oven, hobs, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle and dishwasher. There is a washing machine, complimentary Wi-Fi and off-road parking. Indoor entertainment includes a pool table and foosball table.

Outside are a garden/patio, BBQ, outdoor shower and sandpit. Boogie boards and a couple of kayaks are available for beach outings. Life jackets are available for the kayaks, but guests are advised to bring their own well-fitting life jackets.

Linen is included: sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats and tea towels are provided. Beds are made before arrival and stripped after departure; pillows and duvets are supplied.

Waikawa Beach is 600 m away. Manakau, with a couple of cafes, is an eight-minute drive away. Otaki is a 14-minute drive south for eateries, a supermarket, outlet shopping and Otaki Beach.
