Smoking is not permitted. Bed linen and towels must be brought by the guest. Electricity, pillows, duvets, firewood and final cleaning are included. An electric-vehicle charger is available for an additional charge. A cot and high chair are provided.

Cross-country ski trails, hiking terrain and cycling trails are directly outside the cabin. Turufjell Ski Centre is approximately 30 km away. Veåstjernet is approximately 2 km away and has a bathing jetty; the page also gives a walking time of approximately 20 minutes. The nearest settlement is Gulsvik, 8 km away, and the nearest grocery store is in Flå, 20 km away. The road to the cabin is a toll road, payable per passage, and an all-year road reaches the cabin.
