## Property questions

## What is the apartment layout and what makes it distinctive?
This modern, thoughtfully designed apartment accommodates up to five guests, with two bedrooms, two full bathrooms and three beds. The primary bedroom has a queen-size bed, a Smart TV and an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with a full-size bed below and a twin bed above; the second full bathroom is just outside this bedroom. The Spanish source specifies a 40-inch television in the primary bedroom and no television in the second bedroom.

The living area offers space to relax and a television with Netflix, Disney+ and more than 3,000 streaming channels from around the world. The fully equipped, compact kitchen has an adjacent laundry room with a washer and dryer. A baby chair and/or portable travel crib can be requested before arrival.

The apartment has a private balcony for morning coffee or relaxing in the evening. It is close to restaurants, cafés, rooftop bars and historic attractions.

The Spanish description also advertises a custom mural by renowned urban artist Oscar Melgar, known for his work with Panama’s colorful, folkloric “Diablos Rojos” buses. The mural depicts a traditional Kuna woman wearing mola, representing the Indigenous peoples of San Blas in the Caribbean.

## What supplies, extra fees and local precautions should I know about?
A complimentary starter set of shampoo, conditioner, soap and toilet paper is provided on arrival. Once these initial supplies run out, guests must purchase their own toiletries for the rest of their stay.

Long stays incur an additional weekly cleaning fee. A pet fee applies per pet and includes a comfortable pet bed, two food and water bowls, a toileting pad and a bag of treats.

The apartment is near the central area of Casco Viejo’s historic district and less privileged areas of the city. Approach locals with respect and caution. For your safety, avoid displaying expensive belongings or walking alone in empty areas.

## Which building facilities can guests use?
Guests can use the free shared coworking space in the heart of Casco Viejo; ask for more information. Guests also have access to the rooftop and its pool area, open until midnight. The pool is communal rather than exclusive to this apartment.

The on-site Ayala Vida restaurant offers Panamanian food with an emphasis on the source of its ingredients.

On-site parking carries an extra nightly fee, but the access notes state it is currently unavailable because of repairs to the access street. Ask about current availability.

The apartment is near Plaza Herrera, with grocery stores, pharmacies, museums and other places of interest within walking distance.

Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur an additional fee depending on the time. AcoModo also offers more than 60 additional exclusive properties from Panama City to Buenaventura for extending your trip, with staff support.

## What should I know about parking and getting around?
Plaza Herrera and the ground-floor Aya La Vida restaurant, visible from the street, are local reference points for La Cuadra Residences.

On-site parking is limited, carries an additional fee and has a vehicle-size restriction: large cars cannot pass through. It is available only to AcoModo guests within La Cuadra, subject to availability; the access notes currently report it unavailable due to street repairs.

Casco Parking on Avenida A is a multilevel facility advertised as secure and a short walk from La Cuadra. Paid off-site parking and free street parking are also advertised. Look for street parking along Avenida A or nearby streets, and follow local regulations to avoid fines.

Some people may request payment to “look after” your car. The host does not recommend using these services unless you agree to pay and have cash, and warns that your car could otherwise be damaged. The source says this activity is not encouraged in Panama but may be encountered.

El Chorrillo is next to the building and is less touristy. The host describes it as generally safe but advises caution and awareness when walking or driving, recommends not entering the area, and suggests staying near boundaries where police are present.

Traffic can be heavy, especially at peak hours; travel at less busy times where possible. Use GPS or a mapping app because streets can be confusing and many are one-way.

## When is support available?
Communication support is available from 7 am to 10 pm. The team will do its best to answer messages outside those hours. In emergencies, you may call at any time. If staff are not on site, they will do everything possible to assist remotely until they can arrive in person.

You are staying in an apartment, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. Problems will be addressed as soon as possible, but no one lives on site 24/7.

## What can I explore in Casco Viejo?
Casco Antiguo, also known as Casco Viejo or the old quarter, is Panama City’s historic district. This UNESCO Cultural World Heritage Site dates to 1673 and features lively plazas, picturesque paved streets and colorful buildings. It is ideal for walking, discovering history, enjoying fine cuisine, photography and mingling with locals in the nightlife scene.

Visit the Metropolitan Cathedral of Panama City in the main square, Plaza Mayor, and the Church of San José, famous for its golden altar. Stop at Plaza de Francia and Las Bóvedas, a monument once used as a defense against pirate attacks.

Museums include the Museo del Canal and Museo de la Mola, which showcases traditional textile art by the Indigenous Guna people. Arco Chato’s iconic stone arch is the remnant of a church built by Dominican friars and offers a photo opportunity.

At the Panama National Theater, see the ceiling frescoes painted by Robert Lewis. Shopping opportunities include local crafts and high-end boutiques.

Casco Viejo is at the heart of Panama City’s dining scene, with grilled seafood, Panamanian dishes and international cuisine by leading chefs. After dinner, explore the nightlife or enjoy sunset views of the capital from rooftop bars.

## What house rules should I follow?
Keep doors and windows closed: Panama’s hot, humid climate can cause condensation that may damage the air conditioning. Turn off air conditioning when it is not needed and switch off lights when leaving the apartment to conserve energy.

If your traditions involve leaving shoes outside, notify the team in advance. Shoes may not be left in building corridors for safety reasons.

For stays longer than two nights, please lightly water the plants if their soil is very dry.

Keep conversations calm if misunderstandings arise. Loud arguments or actions that disrupt public order may incur an additional fee. Building security may involve the police, and the host reserves the right to end the stay without a refund in these circumstances. Please help maintain a comfortable, peaceful space for current and future guests.

## What are the stay length and arrival times?
The minimum stay is one night and the maximum stay is 365 nights. Scheduled check-in is from 3 pm to 10 pm, and check-out is at 11 am. A 24-hour check-in amenity is also advertised; confirm arrangements for arrival outside the scheduled window.

## Which amenities and activities are advertised?
Kitchen and dining: kitchen, cooking basics, stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, blender, baking sheet, coffee maker, coffee, wine glasses and dining table.

Comfort and entertainment: air conditioning, Wi-Fi internet, laptop-friendly workspace, TV, Smart TV, record player, room-darkening shades, bed linens, towels, hot water, hair dryer and iron.

Outdoor facilities and setting: balcony/terrace, communal swimming pool available year-round, downtown location and proximity to the ocean.

Parking: free street parking, paid off-site parking and paid on-site parking. Ask about on-site availability; spaces within La Cuadra are only for AcoModo guests, and the access notes report a current closure due to street repairs.

## What minimum and maximum stay apply?
The booking rules advertise a minimum of 1 night and a maximum of 365 nights.

The public description advertises these amounts; confirm them before booking:

• Long-stay cleaning: $25 per week. The description does not define how long a stay must be for this charge to apply.
