House rules

The primary renter must be at least 25 years old. Smoking is not allowed. Maximum occupancy is eight; additional guests require express approval and may incur a $100.00 per-person, per-night fee. Events are prohibited. Reservations involving events, commercial activities, rotating groups or other non-traditional uses require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees or an increased security deposit. One dog of 200 lbs or less is permitted for $300.00 per booking. Larger dogs, multiple dogs and all other pets require express approval; the fee schedule specifies $300 per dog per booking. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage costs. One light cleaning per eight nights booked and an end-of-stay cleaning are included; additional requested cleanings are at the guest's expense. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If cancellation dates are reopened at the owner's discretion and rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation. If no replacement booking is made, the original stay may still be used provided payments meet the agreed schedule and written notice is given at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments over $3,500 must be made by check, ACH or wire. Instead of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 in damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. Property showings to prospective renters or buyers may occur; advance notice and reasonable daytime scheduling will be sought.

Getting there

The home is not handicap accessible. All four bedrooms are on the second floor. Nearby beaches include Goose Creek Beach, Kenney's Beach, Paradise Shores, Cedar Beach and Town Beach; the property does not have beach access. Golf courses are a short drive away. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, confirm pool, outdoor furniture and equipment availability before booking; spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
