House rules

Maximum occupancy is eight; no additional guests are permitted. Pets and smoking are prohibited. Events are prohibited under the standard policy. Reservations involving events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses or rotating guest groups require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees or an increased security deposit. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive utility usage. One light cleaning per eight nights booked and one end-of-stay cleaning are included; additional cleanings may be requested at the guest's expense. A refundable cash security deposit of 10% is required, governed by a separate agreement signed by owner and guest before check-in. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Following cancellation, efforts may be made to reopen and rebook the dates, at the owner's discretion. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation. If the property is not rebooked, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments have been made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. The owner may arrange showings to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule them during reasonable daytime hours.

Getting there

Not suitable for children aged four and under. The primary renter must be at least 35. Bedrooms span the main floor, second floor and lower level. Southampton's ocean and bay beaches are a short drive away. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about pool availability and outdoor furniture and equipment; seasonal spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
