The house

The house has a fully equipped open-plan kitchen/diner and a spacious furnished living room. A desk and cookware are provided.

The ground-floor bedroom has a king-size bed that can be arranged as two single beds on request when booking. Upstairs are a king-size bedroom and a bedroom with a standard double bed. Bed linens are provided, and many rooms overlook Rothbury High Street. The family bathroom has a bathtub, with towels and a complimentary starter pack of toiletries provided.

A private patio with seating is accessed from the ground floor. A short flight of steps leads to a large enclosed lawned garden. Shops, cafés, pubs and countryside walks are close by in Rothbury. Cragside House and Gardens, the Simonside Hills, Coquet Valley and Northumberland National Park offer opportunities for outings; Alnmouth and Bamburgh are coastal day-trip destinations.

Free parking is available on the High Street. The village centre is walkable. The Arriva X14 connects Rothbury with Morpeth and Newcastle, and the 471 service connects Rothbury with Alnwick. Morpeth is the nearest railway station and is reachable by bus. Community transport operates in the Coquet Valley, and local taxis are available.
