What staying here is like

Designed by local architect Thomas Jakway in 2007, the home has three bedrooms across two levels, each with an en suite bathroom and separate climate controls. A glass staircase and personal elevator connect the levels. The open kitchen has stainless steel appliances, custom walnut cabinets, Caesarstone countertops and a wine fridge. The great room connects the kitchen, dining and living areas, with retracting glass doors opening onto a living and dining terrace. The upper-level main suite has a dual-sided gas fireplace, stone soaking tub, front- and rear-facing windows and a walk-in closet. One lower-level bedroom includes a twin futon for additional sleeping space. The hillside backyard has a saltwater pool and spa, outdoor wet bar, gas firepit, seating areas and landscaped ruins suitable for dining or socializing. An outdoor shower is inside the ruins. Two barbecues and a high-capacity washer/dryer are provided. Linens and towels are supplied.
