The house

The home replicates the floor plan and exterior of the old Yaquina Bay lighthouse, with modern interiors and coastal details including rope and seashells. The parlor has seating arranged for conversation and a flatscreen cable TV. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available.

The spacious open kitchen has ample counter space, stainless-steel appliances, a French press, a blender and a mixer. Dining options include a breakfast bar and a six-person table.

Upstairs sleeping rooms include two rooms with queen-size beds and a room with two twin-size beds. A tower sleeping room, reached by a ladder, has a trundle bed described as suitable for two children. The staircase includes a banister dating to the 1890s. There is one full bathroom, one half bathroom and a downstairs laundry room. Overnight occupancy is limited to six guests.

Starfish Cove beach is a few minutes' walk from the front door. Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area lies directly to the south, and Newport's city center is a little more than three miles south.
