House rules

The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Smoking is not allowed. Additional guests and events are prohibited unless expressly approved. Events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses and rotating groups during a stay require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $150.00 per reservation night. A refundable cash security deposit of $10,000 is required, subject to a separate owner–guest Security Deposit Agreement signed before check-in. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. After cancellation, Marquis may work with the owner to reopen and rebook the original dates; reopening is the owner's decision. If those dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price and the replacement reservation is fully paid, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total original reservation amount is issued. If no replacement booking is made, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments have been made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation starts. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments above $3,500 must be by check, ACH or wire. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule reasonable daytime hours.

Getting there

The property is not handicap accessible. Nearby beaches include Foster Memorial Town Beach, Sagg Main Beach and Ocean Road Beach. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability; spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
