House rules

Reservations require approval before confirmation. Smoking and pets are prohibited. Additional guests and events require express approval. Events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses and rotating guest groups require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage. For reservations longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. Following cancellation, Marquis will use best efforts to work with the owner to reopen and rebook the dates; reopening is at the owner's discretion. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after the replacement reservation is paid in full. If no replacement booking is made, guests may use the original dates provided payments follow the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation starts. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 in damage protection, with coverage details in the booking agreement. The owner may need to show the property to prospective renters or buyers. Advance notice and reasonable daytime scheduling will be sought.

Getting there

Nearby beaches include Flying Point Beach, W. Scott Cameron Beach and Ocean Road Beach. The property does not provide beach access. The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. For stays outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about availability of outdoor furniture and equipment; spring cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May.
