# The Fairway Escape Southampton, NY, United States (general area) ## About the house The home has an open-plan living room, dining area and fully equipped kitchen, with large windows and connections to outdoor gathering spaces. Kitchen equipment includes a refrigerator, oven, stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, blender, cookware and dishes. Central air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi, a laptop-friendly workspace, a washer and dryer, Sonos audio and a gas fireplace are provided. The upstairs primary bedroom has a king bed, a walk-in closet, streaming TV and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. The second upstairs bedroom has a queen bed, a standard closet, streaming TV and an ensuite bathroom with a shower/tub combination. The main-floor bedroom has a queen bed, a standard closet, streaming TV and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. A fourth full bathroom with a shower is on the main floor. Bed linens, bath towels and pool/beach towels are provided. The landscaped yard has a private heated outdoor saltwater pool, a covered deck/patio, lounge chairs, outdoor dining furniture, a gas grill and a hot-and-cold outdoor shower. A bicycle, beach chairs, beach umbrella and cooler are available. The yard has a fence, but the pool is not fenced. Parking and an attached garage are provided. Shinnecock is within walking distance. The property is not suitable for unrelated guests. Maximum occupancy is six; no additional guests are permitted. Pets, smoking and events are prohibited. Reservations involving events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses or rotating groups require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability; spring cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Following cancellation, Marquis may work with the owner to reopen and rebook the original dates, at the owner's discretion. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a 20% penalty on the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use their original dates provided payments follow the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be made by check, ACH or wire. Instead of a security deposit, the property includes up to $25,000 of damage protection, subject to the booking agreement.
