The house

The cottage accommodates six guests in three bedrooms. Original features include flagstone floors, exposed beams and mullioned windows overlooking the countryside. The open-plan living area has underfloor heating, and the sitting area has a woodburner in an inglenook fireplace. A contemporary kitchen provides self-catering facilities.

A carpeted staircase leads upstairs to a bathroom with a roll-top bath. Zip-and-link beds allow flexible sleeping arrangements.

Outside, there is off-road parking at the front, an enclosed garden at the side, views towards the moors and a hot tub. Wi-Fi is available and pets are welcome.

Ripponden has shops, cafés and pubs, with the River Ryburn running through its centre. Walking and cycling opportunities are nearby, and the Peak District is within driving distance. Nearby Hebden Bridge has restaurants, bars, art galleries and the Rochdale Canal.
