House rules
Weekend stays during peak season require a two-night minimum; long weekends require a three-night minimum. Guests arriving after 8:30 pm, or after 5:30 pm during winter months, should note this on their reservation or advise the front desk. The front desk closes at 9 pm, or 6 pm in winter. The campfire site requires advance booking. Seasonal outdoor recreation is weather permitting from May to October. A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to guarantee stays of a week or longer. Group bookings of five rooms or more require a $50 non-refundable deposit per room; group cancellation terms are agreed for the booking. Cancellations more than 48 hours before check-in incur no cancellation fee; cancellations within 48 hours incur a one-night fee, and same-day cancellations are charged for the entire stay.
Getting there
The local beach is a 3–5 minute drive from the hotel. Downtown Bayfield is a three-minute drive. The Ashwood is above the Bayfield River on Bluewater Highway (Route 21).
