# The Antler House East Hampton, NY, United States (general area) ## About the house Designed and built by Andrew Geller in 1968, The Antler House was restored and updated in 2019 and received an AIA Honor Award for restoration in 2020. Its interiors feature period-correct details and designer finishes. The house has appeared in Architectural Digest, Dwell, DesignBoom and Archinect. The estimated floor area is 1,500 square feet. The three-story, upside-down layout places the great room and large entertaining deck on the second story, surrounded by the forest canopy, with a loft sleeping area on the third floor. The first-floor sleeping areas have closets and balcony/deck access; one has an ensuite bathroom. Both full bathrooms are on the first floor, with showers and a tub in one. Each queen bed has bamboo viscose linens by Cozy Earth. Facilities include a private heated saltwater pool, HVAC, heated bathroom floors, a 120-inch movie screen with a 4K laser projector, television, a Bluetooth/Sonos/stereo speaker system, and a kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee pot, toaster, blender, cookware and tableware. A washer, dryer, linens, bath towels, pool/beach towels and hair dryer are provided. There is a private entrance and driveway parking for four cars. The outdoor deck has dining furniture, an umbrella and a gas grill. Outdoor equipment includes six lounge chairs, a cooler, beach toys, a paddleboard and five adult bicycles. Maximum occupancy is six, with no additional guests permitted. Smoking is not allowed. Events are prohibited. Events, commercial activities and other non-traditional uses, including rotating guest groups during a stay, require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees or an increased security deposit. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Do not use the pot-bellied iron stove: it is not operational and could pose a fire hazard. One dog of 75 lbs or less is permitted for $150.00 per booking. Larger dogs, multiple dogs and other pets require express approval. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $40.00 per night. One light cleaning for every eight nights booked and an end-of-stay cleaning are included; additional requested cleanings are at the guest's expense. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Following cancellation, reopening dates is at the owner's discretion. If the property is rebooked for the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after the replacement reservation is fully paid. If it is not rebooked, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments have been made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 in damage protection, subject to the booking agreement.
