The 15th-century property was originally a monastery and later a farmhouse. It has exposed stone walls, terracotta floors, timber beams and restored antique furnishings, together with a music room, billiards room, gym, wine-tasting room and modern kitchens. The property has a large garden, panoramic dining terraces, a pool and a private tennis court, as well as table tennis, a football goal and a basketball hoop.

The property is in the Chianti countryside near Siena. Siena is 12 km away, Pianella is 4 km away and the Siena train station is 12 km away. Access includes 200 metres of unpaved road. The private tennis court is 50 metres from the villa. The nearest listed beach is Castiglione della Pescaia on the Tyrrhenian Sea, 112 km away. Uncovered parking is inside the property. An electric-vehicle charging point is available at a consumption-based cost.

This is a private structure available by lease only. Only small-size pets are allowed. The pool is seasonal, open from mid-April to mid-October; heating requires prior notice, although the service is available at no extra cost.
