# Tamarindo Penthouse - 2 minute walk to the beach Tamarindo, Guanacaste, Costa Rica (general area) ## About the house The condo is a great place to set up your home base. With plenty of room to spread out, you can use it as a private paradise after a full day at the beach. It features air conditioning, cable TV, internet, and a fully functional kitchen. The kitchen has a full sized fridge, cooktop, oven, dishwasher, coffee pot, microwave, toaster, blender, cookware, flatware, and dishes for 6. A beach towel and bath towel are provided for each registered guests. We also provide a hand towel in the bathroom and kitchen towels in the kitchen. Biodegradable 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner and body wash is available in the bathroom. Biodegradable dish soap and dishwasher detergent are provided in the kitchen. An iron and hair dryer are available for your use. There are beach chairs, coolers and sand toys available for guest use within the building on a first come, first served basis. Weekly cleanings are included for stays longer than 7 nights. Additional cleanings are available for a fee. The condo is within walking distance to everything Tamarindo has to offer -2 min walk to the beach, 4 min walk to the center of town. No lifeguard is posted Please note: this unit is on the fourth floor (4th), and the complex does not have an elevator. This apartment is best suited for guests 12 and older. It is on the 4th floor and there is no child proofing in the apartment (plugs are accessible, tables may have sharp corners) . - No Smoking. Smoking is not permitted within the property (including porches, balconies, poolside or other outdoor areas) at any time. There is a $250 fee for smoking in the building or in the condo. - ID: All guests must provide copy of passport or cedula upon booking. - Check in is at 2:00pm. Check out is at 10:00am. If you need a late check out please ask us. If there are no other customers checking in, we can allow the late check out. However, there is a late check out fee of $50. Requests must be made 24 hours in advance. - Guests must adhere to capacity disclosure. Exceeding the number of guests disclosed during booking is grounds for immediate eviction or an additional guest fee of $100/person/night if maximum capacity has not yet been reached. The property is monitored by 24 hour CCTV and we live in the building. - Pets are not permitted. Undisclosed pets are grounds for immediate eviction or denial of check in. - Quiet hours: 10pm until 8am. Please keep all noise levels to a minimum after 10:00pm (both inside and outside of the condo). No common area use (pool, bbq, outdoor tables…) during those times. - Parties: No parties or events allowed out of respect for other guests. Bachelor/Bachelorette party groups are prohibited. - Visitors: If you would like to have outside guests visit the property, please send us an email with their name and id number ahead of time. Absolutely no prostitutes are allowed on property at any time or for any reason. We reserve the right to deny access to the property or ask certain visitors to leave. - The use or possession of any illegal drugs is not permitted on property. - We are an eco-friendly establishment. Please help us by conserving water and electricity. Please turn off the A/C when you leave the room and keep doors and windows closed while in the room with the A/C on. Crypto mining is prohibited and carries a minimum $3,000 fee. -Pool: Swim at your own risk - there is no lifeguard on duty. No diving into pool. - Drones may not be flown within the building per Costa Rican law. No photos or videos may be taken from the building and posted online without prior written authorization. - Personal items, swimsuits, towels, surfboards...may not be left outside of the condo.
