The house

The apartment is spread over three floors, with an upside-down layout: the open-plan living room and kitchen occupy the top floor, and the two bedrooms are on the level below. The sitting room has an electric piano, a TV and an ornamental fireplace. A small private terrace receives sunshine during the summer months.

The spacious main bedroom has a super king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has a double bed, French farmhouse-inspired styling and its own private bathroom. Bathroom facilities include a bath with shower and a shower.

The kitchen includes an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. Towels, a hair dryer, an iron and ironing board, a ceiling fan, smoke detectors and a carbon monoxide detector are provided. Free internet is available. There is no air-conditioning; fans are provided in every bedroom between May and September, and can be requested outside that period.

There are eateries on the street below, including Grumbles a short walk away. Tate Britain is nearby, and St James’ Park is a ten-minute walk from the apartment.
