The house

Sunset Beach Hideaway is a 2,400-square-foot home accommodating up to eight guests, with partial ocean views from select areas and mature tropical gardens. The open-concept great room connects the lounge, dining area and outdoor lanai beneath wood-beam ceilings. Large covered lanais provide outdoor dining and relaxation space, and the property has a private yard.

The fully stocked kitchen has an oversized island, bar seating, extensive preparation space, a refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Smaller appliances include a coffee maker, kettle, blender, toaster, toaster oven and rice cooker.

Each bedroom has a California King bed, garden views and a ceiling fan. The primary bedroom has an ensuite full bathroom and split air conditioning. The two guest bedrooms have no air conditioning and rely on ceiling fans and natural breezes. A traditional pune'e in the downstairs living room provides a California King sleeping area for additional guests.

Amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, free on-site parking, television with satellite or cable, linens, beach towels, beach chairs, an insulated cooler bag and an outdoor shower. A private entrance and self check-in/check-out are available. Safety equipment includes a first aid kit, fire extinguisher and smoke detector.

Sunset Beach is a short walk away. Historic Haleiwa Town, Matsumoto Shave Ice, Waimea Bay, Shark’s Cove, food trucks, surf shops and North Shore hiking trails are a short drive away. A car is necessary. The home is offered exclusively to one renter for a full 30-day period; inquire about this rental arrangement.
